"I engaged Eleanor to complete a remote design for me as I couldn't find a local garden designer. The whole process from first contact to final design was very professional and the fact that Eleanor has never been to my garden had no effect on her understanding of the brief or the execution of the design. My garden has a few tricky problems that I didn't know what to do with but Eleanor was able to work with my very tight budget by incorporating the problems and making them look like they were always intended - which to me is the sign of a great designer.

"From the initial consultation Eleanor understood exactly what we wanted to achieve in our small space. She presented us with initial designs that cleverly solved the problems in our garden and would create the space we envisaged with both beautiful views from the house and spaces for relaxing and entertaining in our garden. Eleanor’s ideas were something we would not have thought of ourselves and made a beautiful feature out of masking unsightly views outside of the garden whilst at the same time creating a haven of greenery.

The project was completed with a very unobtrusive build by a professional and knowledgeable team, liaising closely with Eleanor so that the plans were precisely followed. The end result is absolutely beautiful, finished with painstaking attention to detail. The planting scheme already looks great through the winter and we are looking forward to it blooming this spring!"

"We contacted Eleanor with a very basic idea of what we wanted from our garden and next to no knowledge of plants or landscaping. From this ‘blank sheet’ she skilfully, knowledgeably and, very patiently guided us, through many changes and variations, to our final design. Once the landscapers were engaged, she continued to liaise with them and us, and offer input right up until the project was completed.
