Design Consultation
This is where I meet with you at your home to see your garden and get to know you. We will discuss how you'd like your garden to work for you, what styles you like and what budget we'll be working to. This is where I get a sense of your wishes and style and start to piece together ideas to create your bespoke garden design. Initial consultations are from £100, plus mileage.
After the initial consultation I will put together a design proposal. This forms the foundations of your garden design project, laying out your needs and wishes along with a cost estimate and timeline. Once you are happy that I have considered everything discussed in this brief we can proceed with the next steps.

Survey
I will require a topographical survey of your garden and I can recommend a respectable land surveyor for you.

Presentation
This is the most creative step in the process and also one of the most important.
Starting at the drawing board, I create organic loose two-dimensional hand-drawn sketches of your garden along with a beautiful mood board to give you a real feel for the style. 3D modelling will help to further enhance your insight into your future garden. This process provides you with invaluable insights into how your garden will flow, what style it will portray, thus promoting further discussions and small tweaks if necessary.

Detailed Drawings
This stage is all about the nitty gritty details of the project, fine tuning the concepts into working drawings. A series of drawings are produced; a master plan, construction details, drainage & irrigation plans, lighting plan and sections and elevations. These are produced to enable professional landscape contractors to accurately quote for the work and thereafter build your garden.
Tender Process
With the prepared drawings we can, if necessary, invite local and reputable contractors to tender. This involves getting a 'like for like' quotation for the work. Once the ideal contractor is selected, we can be as involved with the project as you like, from being the main point of contact between you and your contractor, to you liaising in person and managing the build independently. We can monitor the site at agreed intervals if required, to ensure the build is on schedule and being completed to the desired finish.

Planting Plan
A detailed planting plan is produced showing the position of the individual plants, their final spread and the quantity required. This is complimented by a mood board to beautifully showcase the ambience of the proposed plants.

Construction
This is where the design starts to come to life with your chosen landscapers creating the garden of your dreams. Any questions at all, please ask.
